The Huntridge Soda Fountain in Vegas is a new diner-type dairy place located in a drug store about 2 miles from the Strip. You will be put off by the outside of the store and the neighborhood, but look past it and get inside. The food is real old-fashioned diner food with huge portions and a great menu. Prices are absolutely terrific. Is it healthy food? Nope. The cook fries it up on the grill in front of your eyes, but, man is it good food. Hash browns and eggs with toast (fluffy, generous sized white bread, loads of crispy stringy latke like potatoes), fluffy pancakes with heaps of whip cream, yummy pizzas, generous portion of fries, grilled cheese sandwich that melted in your mouth, egg creams, milkshakes, the works. It is owned by a member of the Las Vegas Orthodox community and has a good certification (again, you will doubt that when you walk in) especially when your waiter looks a bit like Elvis (no kidding). What a find in Vegas! It closes by 6 on weekdays and earlier on Sunday. They said they will deliver, but you have to that depends on whether they have a car available. Very nice cook and waiter. Awesome diner ambience. This is one time where we wish what happened in Vegas did NOT stay in Vegas.
