I sell my chametz, and make no particular effort to get rid of anything we have around except for leftovers that will spoil over the holiday. I actually bought up a bunch of my favorite cereal that I saw very on sale this past week, which is being put away until after the chag. I ate some of that for breakfast this morning, with skim milk, as I usually do.
I know many people who do not sell chametz gamur, and others who do not sell open packages of chametz as they don't feel that they have sufficient value that somebody might plausibly buy them.
