They have a nice fake meat menu. The Israelis next to us ordered the veggie burgers and other vegie stuff. Looked good and they were happy. Today, we sampled the milkshakes and sundaes. Um. No words. The Milkshake comes as you would expect in the tall soda fountain glass topped with that whip cream and the cherry and then, wait for it, accompanied by the stainless steel pouring cup. it was a ridiculous amount of milkshake. And the sundae was the sundae of my kids' dreams. Scott, the manager, is a really nice guy. Has this tough guy look, but is very kind. The Lubavitch Mashgiach was around and I asked him a few questions about the place. He explained certain logistics and some history. Very interesting. It turns out the diner part of the pharmacy was dark for years until the frum owner of the pharmacy decided to restore it to its glory. What a treat for all of us.
