Kosher Caterer near Meredith, NH (Lake Winnipesaukee area)

Adina, The website is poorly constructed. But in the hinterlands it is very common for caterers to do both kosher and non kosher catering, Some have separate kitchens, storerooms and equipment (keys may be held by the supervising rabbi). Others kasher the kitchen and equipment for the affair. When I was married to my first wife. The wedding took place at a wedding palace in Massachusetts (similar to Leonard's of Great Neck) which had both kosher and non-kosher kitchens and all kosher events were unbder the Vaad of Springfield. The major kosher caterer in New Haven has both a kosher division and a non kosher division with separate kitchens and supervision. Out of town caterers in areas with small Jewish/observant populations can't survive (as full time businesses) doing kosher only. Because those Jews living in big Jewish areas (NY for example) look at things in terms of what they are exposed to regularly, they would think the website odd. A Jew in rural/small town New England would look at the website and think: 'Great, this caterer can also do kosher' BTW>>>it's all in how you read the website. I didn't get the take that they were a kosher caterer (only). I read the main description "Event and Kosher Catering" to mean that they did events (such as a clam bake) and also did kosher catering, as opposed to Kosher event catering. Confusing yes, could it have been explained better, yes. BUT is it understood by their local clientele, yes. Local businesses don't understand the far reach of the web. l
