El Gaucho

I went last night and for the most part, was impressed. Hot bread was served with a rosemary margarine. Puchero was ok, although the beef broth tasted very commercial. The empanadas were authentic in that they had olive and hard boiled egg, although the size was miniscule for the price. The chimichurri was very good. Asado de Tira was tender, and juicy, although the garlic mashed potatoes tasted old. Flan was excellent, especially for parve. It's enjoyable to have an Argentinean place to eat.
