Turkish Pizza (Lahmacun) is made with tomatoes, spices and usually ground lamb. It is not made with cheese. This has nothing to do with kosher cuisine not mixing meat and dairy.
Tourists misapplying the word pizza to Lahmacun might lead to to an expectation of cheese, but it is not part of the dish.
Friends of mine have owned/operated Turkish Kebab House, just outside New Haven and their definition/explanation from their menu: "Lahmacun sometimes called Turkish pizza is an Anatolian dish usually made up of a round and thin, piece of dough topped with various meats (most commonly mincemeat) and vegetables. Lahmacun is commonly sold on the streets in cities like Antep, Urfa, Istanbul."
Last summer, they came to our home to visit and having given me an ingredient list in advance (to procure) they made an assortment in our outdoor pizza oven for a party we hosted.
