Lately I have been having the bakery section slice my challahs. I make my hamotzi on either matzahs or challah rolls this leads to very efficient use of the challah and allows one to make nice cold cut sandwiches. This works best if your challahs are rectangular in shape of which Shlomies in Seasons are.
