Synthetic burger - Kosher? Parve?

Man you are just all over the place here. You're mixing concepts. Foods containing irradiated ingredients are not labeled in the US but do require labeling in some EU countries. We're not talking about which farmer grows what, we're talking about foods that have been genetically modified. It's not a sourcing issue. Ritual slaughter is a societal issue, it's not a modification of the end product. So it's simply not the same issue (and given the growing number of European countries who ban ritual slaughter outright, labeling is a small compromise - and we already label ritually slaughtered meat, in case you haven't noticed; is it any different to have a Kosher designation?).
